A Fast Lap with Ashley Force Hood

This week's fast lap doesn't need much of an introduction as many of you have heard of her. Ashley Force Hood made history by becoming the first female funny car driver in history, beating her father (drag racing icon John Force) in the final round of the 28th annual Summit Racing Equipment Southern Nationals. Ashley's win denied John of what would have been his 1,000th winning round at his 500th NHRA tour event. You can learn more about Ashley on her website.

Spend time learning about the sport since there is always a lot to it than the glamorous side shown on TV. As with any sport, drag racing is a lot of hard work and time on the road but if you love it then it’s worth it!
