Women in the Winner's Circle will debut exhibit in Daytona Beach

Sometimes (seriously, just sometimes) living in Daytona Beach can give you that warm and fuzzy, we aren't talking about that feeling you get from drinking a nice bottle of champagne. The Daytona 500 Experience will be the first venue to host The Women in the Winner's Circle traveling exhibit which will recognize the history and growing achievements of women in racing.

Women in the Winners Circle was founded by retired Indy Car driver, Lyn St. James. The organization spotlights on women who aspire to become race car drivers and has a variety of programs for driver development, advocacy, diversity and education. The foundation is dedicated to making a difference and reaching the point in time when opportunity and diversity are no longer concerns.

The Women in the Winners Circle exhibition will teach the history of women in motorsports. We are big fans and supporters of female race car drivers and have had the opportunity to interview quite a few of them this season. The exhibition will have graphic panels, video, photos and memorabilia and we can't wait to see it.

The Women in the Winners Circle exhibit will debut at The Daytona 500 Experience beginning in January 2010 and on display through March 2010. Following Daytona, the exhibit will travel to 1o other American venues.
