Oh my oh my....

I'm sure this post is going to make all of our guy followers gag and quite possibly take some credibility away from us....yet a girl has to do what a girl has to do.

ESPN the Magazine has given us another treat. Hitting the stands on October 9th, ESPN The Magazine's first Body Issue will feature more than 30 male and female athletes posing nude or semi-nude. So, go ahead and ask yourself, which one of your favorite shirtless NASCAR drivers are included in this?? Bet you didn't guess Carl Edwards, lol. We will NEVER get tired of seeing Carl shirtless. Yet the preview of this layout, featuring Carl leaning up against an antique Ford truck caused my jaw to drop.

Um Hello.....

Oh, and ladies...if that isn't enough??? In another photo, he strips down to nothing but boxer-briefs. Dear god help us all.

Dover Notes from the Track

Dover becomes even more special for the Truex Family

Its nice to have more than one Truex to talk about this weekend! Following the footsteps of his father and his brother, Ryan Truex ended his rookie series in the NASCAR Camping World West Series by claiming the series championship Friday afternoon in Dover, the family's "home track".

“It’s very exciting,” said NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Martin Truex Jr. “I’m so proud of him not only from what he’s done today, but through the whole season. I’m thankful to Michael Waltrip Racing for giving him this opportunity. It’s been a lot of fun to watch.”

Ryan wasn't the only brother with a winning attitude. Fresh off his foundation's 2nd Annual Golf Tournament & Hook em and Hold em big fundraiser this week, Martin Truex Jr., driver of the No. 1 Chevrolet for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing, a fan favorite at the Monster Mile, also purchased 100 tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover International Raceway for select fans unable to renew their September race tickets due to hardships brought on by the economic downturn or other unforeseen circumstances.

Danica stays at Indy, are you surprised?

It was announced this week, that Danica Patrick is staying in the IndyCar Series. Patrick signed a three-year contract to remain with Andretti Green Racing during last weekend's event at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. Indianapolis Star reports that Patrick could not be reached for comment Thursday night, but it is believed she has not resolved her options for driving a stock car in the future. Tony Stewart told reporters during last week's Sprint Cup Series race in Loudon, N.H., that he has "not made an offer'' to Patrick. We would like to continue to be one of the best looking girls on pit row, so the fashionistas are breathing a sigh of relief!

They don't call it silly season for nothing

Braun Racing to compete in2010. Team owner Todd Braun said his Braun Racing team will attempt five NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races next year, including the season-opening Daytona 500. Who will drive? Jason Leffler, who is currently a Braun driver is a candidate. Reed Sorenson, Bobby Labonte or Jamie McMurray, depending on available Cup rides next year names have been tossed in the mix. Does Casey Mears need to pay attention to this opening?

I think I just heard Junior Nation gasp

It was announced this week, that the #8 car is working to see the light of day in 2010. Dale Earnhardt's grandson Jeffrey will drive this infamous number provided that the folks at DEI get their ducks in row with sponsorship and you know, just general family astonishment that Jr's number would get back on the track.

Is Mark Martin the Brett Farve of NASCAR??

And he is back again! According to Hendrick Motor Sports, Mark Martin will be running a full season in 2010. Mark has surprised us all this season...tied with Brian Vickers for most poles and tied with Kyle Busch for most wins. He has picked up Go Daddy for sponsorship through 2010 and will make his 750th Cup start today at Dover.

Hi, we are in Delaware.
I guess it will be a surprise to you and me who the Grand Marshal for today's race is as I have been looking for over an hour and cant find it! The national anthem will be sung by country music group Trailer Choir. The race will be on ABC with coverage starting at 1pm. Taking heed to your fantasy league selections- Kasey Kahne was the quickest in practice.

Enjoy the Race!!
