My worlds have officially collided - Tim Tebow named Grand Marshall of Dual #1

I am applauding you NASCAR & Daytona International Speedway. You have gone above and beyond for the 2010 Speedweeks in Daytona Beach. First, the news came over that Tim McGraw will be the pre-race concert for the 500. A few days later, we found out that The Zac Brown Band would perform the pre and post race concerts at the Shootout (they were AMAZING by the way). After that, we find out about Harry Connick Jr. singing the National Anthem for the 500.....and now THIS:Tim Tebow named Grand Marshall of the 1st Gatorade Dual at Daytona. I almost crashed my car when I opened the email from DIS (that's what I get for checking my blackberry while driving). Timmy attended the 500 last year and I got cold feet when he walked right beside me. I was unable to approach him for a photo op and to tell him how much he meant to us Gator fans. I will make sure that somehow, someway, I will him tomorrow. If you were wondering, Jacksonville Jaguar Maurice Jones-Drew will be the Grand Marshall of race #2.

Now, speaking of the race tomorrow, the two 150-mile 60-lap Gatorade Dual races will finalize the starting lineup for NASCAR's most prestigious race, the 52 annual Daytona 500. During Saturday's Qualifying, the pole was snagged by #5 Mark Martin. Sitting on the outside of the front row is #88 Dale Earnhardt, Jr. That's right, a Hendrick's front row.

Below you will find the line up for both races. Everyone in red has to race to get in. The two drivers in green are able to use previous champion provisional's.

As a side note, tomorrow may test Darlynn and my friendship. She loyally stuck by my side over the last 4 years, rolling her eyes every time she heard the name Tebow come out of my mouth. Hopefully she can handle one more day of it. I promise you D, if Christian Ponder was the Grand Marshall, I would help you stalk him!
